There are many people who have been involved in ministry for a long time and now they know they are running on fumes. What happened? Did God move, did the word cease to have life, or could it be we have forgotten the greatest and simplest pleasure known to man- connecting with God?
The routine day to day activity of pouring out but never replenishing themselves will catch up with us. We begin to be frustrated, easily upset, and continually blowing our top at the least of troubles! Does this sound familiar?
We need to simply connect with God. What has happened to the awe inspiring face of God? What has happened to communing with the Almighty God? He is still El’ Shaddi, the all sufficient one. Our God can still replenish us. We must let our work for God flow out of our relationship with God. Reconnect! We must go back to spending time with our heavenly Father. Let’s adore Him, and set Him at His rightful place in our private and public lives.
