Do Not Forget: Reminder

I don’t know about you but I live off constant reminders.  Whenever I book an appointment with someone the first thing I do is plug it into my calendar and set myself a reminder.  Because as much as I find all these appointments important to me….there is always the possibility of forgetting! Now some of you may not be that type but I am appreciative of daily reminders.  We all need reminders in every area of our lives;  why do we often not see the importance of daily reminding ourselves and allowing others to remind us, who God is and what He is saying about us! As messengers of the gospel we are to often remind others about God’s faithfulness and goodness.  Look at 2 Peter 1:12: For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth.

Reminders are not an indication that we are weak; in fact as Paul wrote in verse 13, it is right to remind you… Again, Paul wrote to Timothy be reminded of your gift and stir it up. Some of us could use a few reminders, set on our phone or in our mind….you have lived on daily bread but you haven’t reminded yourself of the substance that you ate on.  So here are a few reminders that we all can take advantage of today…

1.    God is faithful!  He will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28)

2.   We must be attentive to make who you are- known in the earth -and who you belong too (2 Peter 1:10-11)

3.   It is better to trust in God that put confidence in men (Ps 118:8)

4.   If God gave you the dream He holds the keys to unlock it…God isn’t into disappointing! (Romans 5:5)

5.   When we don’t know the answers God ALWAYS DOES! (Psalm 138:3, Prov. 16:1)

Don’t ever grow weary of reminders they are the foundation of our faith!  Have a groovy day!
